Frame & 3D Shapes: Austin Willis

I create multimedia abstract paintings, sculptures and installations, primarily concerned with colour, shape, material and form. My paintings use colour and shape to play with spatial illusions. Oscillating between foreground and background, the pictorial dimensions of the image shift as the combinations of lines, shapes, and colours produce illusionary aspects within the picture plane.
