Open Studio with Kosar Movahedi
The Ministry of Casual Living welcomes you to join us on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24th, from 6-9PM for Kosar Movahedi's Open Studio Event!
A wonderful opportunity to meet Kosar, learn more about their artistic process, and, if you're feeling adventurous, a chance to get crafty!
A message from the artist:
"My name is Kosar, my recent work revolves around the rooms where art is displayed. I photograph the walls and details of exhibition rooms, highlighting elements like power outlets, light switches and imperfections that are often ignored. In layers of printing, collaging, drawing and rephotographing, I try to play with the boundaries of images and exhibition spaces.
Please join me for an open studio event at the Ministry of Casual Living to hang out among my piles of paper, draw together and see what I’ve been working on during this past month!"
