ipseity now : new paintings of chromatic exuberance

Mon. December 14th 2015 - Mon. December 28th 2015
@  1056A North Park St.
Ipseity Now is an exhibit of 4 Victoria painters-Roy Green, Ira Hoffecker, PJ Kelly and Pete Kohut. This exhibit explores identity, whether it be the depiction of personal mementos, historical sites, media images or the images that are layered, submerged or regenerated by the daily ritual of the painting process. Chromatic exuberance is a common theme as the intense and often odd colors these painters employ cajole and confound expectations. There will be a short electronic music performance by Apple Pipe at 8 pm.
