Hjalmer Wenstob “Fractured Imprint” (The truth I think I know of masks; spirits in light)

Mon. October 30th 2017 - Sun. November 12th 2017
@  Ministry of Casual Living Window Gallery
2017, Fabric, Fluorescent Light

Fractured Imprint, is a series of ethereal fabric and light pieces. Hardened within the fabric are masks, which are then covered by another veil of fabric. Hung from lights, these simple objects become the echo of a spirit, the echo of a dancer, moving to your movement, something that is there and absent, simultaneously.
