Born in Ontario, Alison Klymchuk is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on unceded W̱SÁNEĆ, Lkwungen and Wyomilth territory (Victoria, BC). She is currently studying towards a B.F.A at the University of Victoria in British-Columbia.

With a strong foundation in painting and drawing, Alison works to expand the language and experience of the flattened picture-plane. Movement and Perception III is part of a larger collection that explores the interactive relationship between artwork, viewer and artist. Skewing perception through sculptural cues animates movement in the observer, initiating a critical awareness of shifting forms in transient spaces.
