The Ministry of Casual Living Gallery is excited to announce our April artist; Jasper Pettman! Join us on April 20th for Jasper’s opening of “Offers Good Company,” from 2-8pm! Happening at the same time as our building’s open house! For this day only, entry is from 780 Blanshard.

About the artist:
Jasper Pettman is a white-Ukrainian/nêhiyaw (Cowessess First Nation), two-spirit trans artist born in Cpelmetkwe, Secwepemcúl’ecw (100 Mile House, BC) and currently living and working on the lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ and lək̓ʷəŋən (Victoria, BC). He recently completed a BFA at the University of Victoria. Jasper’s artistic practice includes painting, digital, and web-based media, with a focus on transformation, the human form, gender, sexuality, and Indigenous identity/language.
